This video walks through the PhotoShop workspace, how to create files, toolbars, and basic tools like Move, Brush, Text, Zoom. The move and zoom tools seem like they will be the easiest to use since theyre very intuitive and moving and zooming does not take much practice. And the brush tool also seems easy once you understand the different parts of it. Id like to know how to know the right brush hardness or flow for different kinds of projects, and how to manage more advanced text settings.
This tutorial goes over almost every tool in the toolbar, like selection, lasso, magic wand, crop, eraser, gradient, and pen. Because the video covers so much, its a bit overwhelming, but some of the tools seem easy like crop and erase. It was cool to learn about the healing brush and clone stamp for fixing blemishes or removing objects.
This video focuses on how to use each tool with examples. The video went over tools like zoom and move that I learned about in previous videos, but went in depth on other ones like lasso and magnetic lasso which seem a little hard to master and not be messy. And tools like patch or content aware fill seem more advanced because they rely on PhotoShops smart features to fix or fill areas. I like how in this video the instructor shows what can go wrong and how to fix your mistakes.
